EOS 500D

After much research, zeroed in on the Canon EOS 500D. Also known by the names

Digital Rebel T1i in the US and Kiss X3 Digital in the Japan.

It is a mid-range SLR that has got plenty of options to play with. For now, it's just come with the standard 18-55mm Lens.
